Dog Blog Post #649: The Daily Dog Challenge for today was...
159. "Back to Nature" - Take a photograph of your dog in a natural setting today!
Our Daily Challenge - April 7, 2012 - "Happiness"
Now, happiness is pretty much a 24/7 state for Henry. I've never met a creature with so few worries and such a positive outlook on life.
(Well, except for that whole Hat Thing many months ago, but the Precious Puppy insists it was just a phase he was going through, and it is now put behind him. Happily.)
At this point, I hesitantly interject a photographic... observation. I hesitate, as I'm a neophyte compared to many out there. And yet, perhaps there are some out there who haven't heard of it before...
Using your flash on a hash sunlight day can make your pictures look better.
Case in point, the following terrible picture...
... was shot just moments before the much more evenly lit picture up top. The only difference being I flipped the flash up for the shot at the top of the post.
(Alas, I almost never think of it until I get back in the house and review the pictures... i.e. when it's "too late".)
(here my back was to the sun, so Henry was squinting, but at least evenly lit)
(much shadier in this part of the yard)
|Lord of all he surveys...|
(which, at that moment, was me holding a Lacrosse Ball)
|Remember those "sticks" from late February? They're blooming!|
