Zachary: "Let's see..."

Who knew the boys were interested in Topiary?

Truth in Advertising: There may have been a wee bit of trimming done to the BOTTOM of those green shoots before the photo shoot began.

Our Daily Challenge - June 15, 2016 - "How Does Your Garden Grow?"

Well, the African Box hedge is growing splendidly.

Everything else has pretty well done its thing for the spring and is settling in for another long, hot, dry summer.

A bit slow growing and gangly to start, but soon plumps out into a practically indestructible plant.

Prune it a few times a year if you want a small hedge.

Give it water - or don't.

Seems to prefer sun but will still hold its shape in shade.

Looks great all year round.
