Like Father Like Son

Like Father Like Son
Henry: "This is the catapult I built."
Zachary: "I'm so proud of him."

Like Father Like Son
Henry: "First you put a ball in the cup."
Zachary: "Be brave little Lacrosse Ball."



Like Father Like Son
Henry: "Then you pull the arm down and use the latch to keep it there."
Zachary: "How do you manage a latch without opposable thumbs?"

(silence)

Henry: "Momma!"

Son built this catapult for his Physics class to launch a Hacky Sack, and his Dad got to help with the test firings.

One is an Engineer and the other is now studying to be one.

And yes, it worked. Son says the Hacky Sack flew over 50 feet!

This is one of my all time favorite posts! "Be brave, Lacrosse ball" had me laughing out loud! Um, Miss Kitty, that might not be a good idea...
