Dog Blog Post #675:

Our Daily Challenge - May 1, 2012 - "A Favorite Sight"

As I've said before, if it wasn't for flickr challenges, my stream would be filled with nothing but Zachary retrieving and Henry's tail.

Well, challenges that don't ask about favorite sights, that is.

Scavenge Challenge May 2012 - "14. Alphabet soup: your subject must be a noun starting with "Gr..."

GRass... in desperate need of mowing.

The top shot wasn't quite as random a shot as it might appear. Henry was happily grazing on the tall grass, not going anywhere, and so I was intentionally trying to catch a shot of Zachary returning at approximately the same spot as Henry was standing, so that Henry's tail would come out sharp.

Of the handful of retrieves that I captured, this shot was the winner.

The rest show the grass as high as a retriever's eye. :)

I love those shots! I didn't have much doubt about what your favorite sight would be! :)

Those are some great shots! How do you keep your coats so beautiful? You need to teach me a little bit about grooming so I can get Apache to look less scruffy.
