Mine!

Mine!
Zachary: "Wow! Thanks for my new Lacrosse Balls!"
Henry: "Momma has cookies."

Sorry, Zachary. Those weren't bought for you. Those are for Son.

Not Mine?
Zachary: "Not mine?"
Henry: "I love you Mom!"

... but if you ask nicely, I bet he'll share. Now give me a nice smile, and you both can have a treat.

Mine!

Tower of Lacrosse Balls

Dog Blog Post #686: Today, we had...

Daily Dog Challenge "194. But It's Mine... - Ever noticed how your dog seems to take possession of certain things, regardless of who you think it belongs to? Show us!"

Now, believe it or not, those Lacrosse Balls that so frequently appear in shots were never intended for the (four-legged) boys.

Nope, they were purchased for the sole use my son, who plays the game.

Of course, once the Retrievers caught sight of them, that idea went out the window.

Our Daily Challenge - May 12, 2012 - "Something Borrowed"

Henry borrowed said son's shirt just for this shoot. I thought the "Mine Mine Mine" written across the front was particularly appropriate.

Finally...

Setup

It took me a few minutes from the time I set up the backboard, black velvet fabric, tripod and lights (as shown here) until I was ready to shoot.

As usual, Henry didn't want to miss out, and planted himself where I would be sure to notice (fall?) over him.

Zachary was guarding the entrance to the kitchen (behind and on the left) where he could watch me gather props but remain close to Cookie Central.

Those shots are precious! What will the boys do if no more Lacrosse balls appear? Zachary's face said it all! :P
