Yes, I know it looks like I randomly assigned names to images, but you'll just have to trust me on this one.

Dog Blog Post #1432

Well, it's… interesting?

And yes, those WERE the cream of the crop.

A forty-four image crop, to be exact. That's 2-4 times the number of shots I normally take.

At least the flash was off.

Photography Assignment

Our Daily Challenge - May 29 2014 - "ICM (Intentional Camera Movement)"

That is, we were supposed to physically MOVE the camera while taking the shot.

In order for this to work, without chucking your camera across the room, you have to the sloooooow the exposure down to give yourself enough time to make enough movement so it looks intentional and not like you're just a bad photographer.

Frankly, I think I managed to do both.

Next!

Daily Dog Challenge 941. "Motion"

Actually…

I liked the Dog Free test shots the best…

Swirls

Stripes

Why are they better? Mainly because the camera is focused on it instead of on the dog in front of it.

PLUS

The lack of a big blotch of Doggie that sort of had to remain Doggie shape and color meant I could do a lot more with sliders, cropping, and rotating during post-processing without it looking like I did.

What WAS It?
