Looks like tonight's Special was Kibble topped with Cottage Cheese and Hamburger Crumbles.

I asked the boys to help with the Chores by refilling the Kibble Canister.

Probably a bad idea on my part, given their lack of opposable thumbs to open the lid, although I do give them points for creativity.

Behind them are the Vibrant colors of their favorite NFL Team.

Prop of the Week

Still life with "ACME" Cartoon Bomb

Had fun with this one.

One 6" Smoothfoam Styrofoam ball, with flashing trimmed, painted black.

One lid from a carton of milk, sanded slightly with hole drilled in top (Thank's Honey!).

One scrap piece of white Lacrosse Stick Stringing.. uh… String (Thank's Son!)

Ball came with a hole in top, which fortuitously fit said string once knotted at the end without any gluing at all.

Don't be surprised if the Bomb reappears as a Cannonball someday. :)

A flash might have been lowered close to the ground.

A reflector might have been reversed to be dark side out to absorb light instead of reflect it.

A slider or two might have been pushed to… augment… the mood.

Ah yes, the candle.

Many years ago, for reasons long since forgotten, Hubby and I purchased a special "drip" candle and a bottle of Chianti to put it in (once empty) - just to see what it would do.

Very cool.

Since then, at least ten years, it has sat in my closet collecting dust.
