Theatrical

Shakespearean Actor
Zachary: "To be, or not to be: that is the question."

Very nice, Zachary.

Now let Henry have his turn.

Shakespearean Actor
Zachary: "Et tu, Henry?"

Really, Zachary?

There are plenty of Cookies to go around.

No reason to be greedy.

Shakespearean Actor
Henry: "Can one desire too much of a good thing?"

Yes, you can. You'll get Cookie Belly.

Now look up at the Cookie ramekin and give me a nice smile.

Shakespearean Actor
Henry: "Tempt not a desperate dog."

Dog Blog Post #1486

The boys, looking rather Theatrical today, with their red cloak giving a A Pop of Color.

Two of my favorite props made an appearance today - the plumed hat and the skull.

Shakespearean Actor
Zachary: "Good Night, Good Night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."

(sigh)

Chinese Checkers

Chinese Checkers
Henry: "Momma, come play with us!"
Zachary: "Come lose to me is more like it."

I would sweeties, but I think you're missing too many pieces.

Chinese Checkers
(silence)

Chinese Checkers
Zachary: "Make more?"

Dog Blog Post #1485

Trivia: According to Wikipedia, the game is neither a variation of checkers nor did it originate in China.

It was invented in 1892 as a German simplification of the American game Halma.

The center of the board, that is. Probably more visible on the box than the game set itself.

Daily Dog Challenge 993. "Not In July"

Pretty sure the boys haven't played Chinese Checkers yet this month :)

Editor's Note

I had a shot of both boys with their heads on their paws, but they just looked so sad I couldn't bring myself to upload it.

The "happy" shot of both smiling didn't turn out.

Therefore, you'll just have to use your imagination to decide how today's short story ends.

(For the record, they are missing one each for Yellow and Black, and two for Green - although I tried to obscure the fact by leaving the center holes of each triangle empty plus the far edge for green.)

Coffee and Tea

And what would you like to drink?

Dynamic Duo
Zachary: "Coffee and LOTS of Cookies."
Henry: "Tea and Cookies."

Setting Up
"More Cookies!"

Setting Up
Henry: "MORE COOKIES!!!"
Zachary: "You'll pop."

That's quite enough Cookies.

Setting Up
Zachary: "Thanks, Mom."
Henry: (pout)

How about a nice big smile?

Coffee and Tea
"Cheesy Burgers!"

Dog Blog Post #1484

Whether drinking Tea or Coffee it appears Cookies are Essential.

LOTS of Cookies.

I buy "Photography Modeling Cookies" 10 boxes at a time, with a fresh shipment arriving yesterday.

Good thing, as I finished off the last of the prior shipment today!

Coffee and Tea
Zachary: "Uh Mom, I don't suppose you could OPEN one of those boxes?"
Henry: "There's no water in my tea."

Monday Mischief

The boys feel surrounding them with CLOSED Cookie Boxes qualifies as Mischief.

(And alas, I don't work for Zukes nor do I get their cookies for free. (sigh))
